you education, business deals, entertainment, relaxation and fun. The
MAREMA annual event is filled with Guest Speakers, Package Presentations,
Receptions and the President's Banquet. Don't miss out on this super
annual event.
This year the Annual Meeting is being held over a three day weekend, Thursday evening, all day Friday and a half day on Saturday at the Comfort Suites in Chincoteague, Virginia.
Register
and RSVP so we may get an
accurate head count for the meeting room and festivities. Registration
is required to insure a space in the meeting room and a seat
at the banquet.
Register before September 17, 2008 and take advantage of the Early Bird Registration special. The Registration Deadline for reserving a room at the Comfort Suites is September, 17, 2008.
The Convention Fee covers all Business Sessions, Thursday evening Reception, two Continental Breakfasts, two Refreshment Breaks, Firday Lunch and Friday night Reception and the President's Banquet.

Session Facilitator
 Conrad Koncezny, CCIM serves as managing director and senior investment advisor with Sperry Van Ness, and is an active broker in Virginia and West Virginia. He specializes in investment grade commercial real estate, multifamily, assisted living, and industrial property. With 35 years of successful marketing and sales experience, he brings his clients experience, understanding, dedication and loyalty.
Koneczny joined Sperry Van Ness in order to focus on a more regional and national market. Previously, Koneczny was the principal broker and managed a team of successful commercial real estate practitioners that made up Adams Nelson & Associates, Inc. Through his leadership, the company positioned itself as the premier local commercial brokerage in the Shenandoah Valley. Prior to affiliation with Adams Nelson, Koneczny was the managing partner of the Prudential franchise in Winchester, Virginia.
Koneczny is recognized for his ability to perform financial analysis of existing real estate, resulting in maximized true market value and investment opportunity awareness prior to taking the property to market, or in providing recommendations to a prospective investor or purchaser.
Koneczny holds the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. He is a Director of the Mid Atlantic Real Estate Marketing Association, serves as Vice Chair on the Commercial Council of the Virginia Association of Realtors, and co-chairs the Commercial Committee of Blue Ridge Association of Realtors. Koneczny is also a member of ICSC and, along with Betty Friant, is a vice chair of the annual localized meeting.
Active in his community, Koneczny serves as a Rotary club officer and past president, a Trustee of Randolf-Macon Academy and chairs the Long Range Strategic Planning committee, a member of the Winchester Board of Zoning Appeals. He has held directorship on the Board of Preservation of Historic Winchester, Healthy Families, Old Town Winchester Business Association among others, and is a former member of the Vestry of Christ Church of Winchester.
